TATA IPL tenth match highlights LSGvsSRH
Last night at the ground of Ekana Sports City, Hyderabad and Lucknow faced each other for the first time this season. The Lucknow team thrashed Hyderabad by 5 wickets and won the match. While, SRH won the toss and decide to bat first they set a target of 122 runs with loss of 8 wickets in front of LSG. In answer, the Ginats scored 127 runs with loss of 5 wickets within 16 overs.
For Lucknow, it was their 3rd match in this season and their second win, where as for Hyderabad they played 2 matches till now and got defeated in both of them. Right now, if we look at points table LSG is at first position with 2 wins and 1 loss, and as for SRH with 2 defeats they are at 10th position.
If talk about the game, todays star player was no doubt LSG's Krunal Pandeya. The man himself played so well today, he not only scored 34 runs in 23 balls with the help of 4 fours and 1 six, he also took 3 wickets for his team.
Now talking about Sunrisers' inning first, Mayank Agarwal was the first to get out, who was caught by Krunal Pandya at the hands of Stoinis. After this, Krunal again sent back Anmolpreet Singh (31 runs) and captain Eden Markram (0 runs) to the pavilion. The series of wickets that started in the third over continued till the end. By the time 50 runs were scored, three wickets had fallen. When Harry Brook entered the field, a big innings was expected from him, but he too could not live up to this expectation and was dismissed after scoring 3 runs in just 4 balls. This was followed by a very slow partnership of 39 runs between Washington Sundar (16) and Rahul Tripathi (34), after which both their wickets were taken by Yash Thakur and Amit Mishra. After the departure of these two, Adil Rashid (4) and Umran Malik (0) were also seen walking back to the pavilion. But, SRH should be thankful to Abdul Samad, who scored 21 runs in 10 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 1 four and took the team to a score of 121 runs.
For Sunrisers, Adil Rashid dismissed the maximum number of two players KL Rahul and Romario Shepherd. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Fazalhaq Farooqui and Umran Malik took one wicket each
And as for the Giants, chasing the target of 122 runs their start was not so good. The team lost their first two wickets for 45 runs. Kyle Meyers (13) was the first who was dismissed by impact player Fazalhaq Farooqui, and was caught by Mayank Agarwal. After him, Deepak Hooda (7) was caught and bowled by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. The 55-run partnership between captain KL Rahul and Krunal Pandya proved to be very important, and this partnership turned the game in Lucknow's direction. Yes, after this the team lost three wickets, but by then Lucknow had come very close to victory. Skipper KL Rahul scored 35 runs in 31 balls which included 4 fours.
For Giants, Krunal took maximum number of three wickets, after which Amit Mishra took 2 wickets. Where as, Yash Thakur and Ravi Bishnoi took one wicket each.
