Munich kicks Paris out of UCL
A start studded team, a team with Messi and Mbappe, still couldn't win against Munich in UCL.
In the second leg of the pre quarter finals of the league, the German club Bayern Munich defeated Paris Saint-Germain by 2-0 to make it to the quarter-finals.
Not only this, but the last 16th match of the first leg was also won by Bayern with 1-0.
PSG needed to beat Munich by at least 2-0 to qualify for the quarter finals but, the opposite happened. With this difference, the team itself had to face the defeat.
Former PSG team players were the once who shot against the team. Not only that, the winning goal was kicked by Moting himself.
Yes, the former PSG footballer Eric Maxime Choupo Moting scored the victory goal. Where as the first goal of the match was served by Serge Gnabry.
For the first half of the match PSG dominated the arena, the team also had the opportunity to score. But, at the right time PSG's Vitinha was brilliantly cleared from the goal line by Bayern's Mathias de Ligt. And, that was the moment when a clear road to victory was created for the Munich in the second half. Moting gave his team the lead in 61st minute of the game.
After the match PSG's coach Christophe Galtier blamed a busy schedule and injured key players as the downfall of the team. Where as this statment is some what true, Neymar is not playing because of his injuries.
While at the same time, Bayern's coach Nagelsmann accepted that the plan to not let Messi and Mbappe goal planned out well. According to Nagelsmann "In the first match, the players were not completely successful in stoping these two, but today they executed the plan perfectly."
