Understanding Gameplay in online Ludo on Gamethon
- Start - Color is randomly allotted to player
- All Pawns start from the starting square
- The pawn can move from the starting square only if the dice rolls to 1 or 6.
- Players take turns to roll the dice
- A player can cut the opponent's pawn by occupying the same area as the opponent. This will result in the opponent's pawn being sent to the starting square.
- There are total 8 safe zones in the play area where the pawns cannot be cut.
- The player getting the pawns to the winning triangle wins.
- In normal Ludo other players are also ranked based on the pawns they have in the home triangle.
